Brighten up your day with a burst of bold fruit flavor! Almost Sugar Free Tutti Frutti Creme Treats are absolute fruit flavored madness, and at around 130 calories per cup, you can feel free to indulge! They look as delicious as they taste, and they’re as easy to make as mixing up a packet of Jello. That’s what I call a dessert made of win.
Almost Sugar Free Tutti Frutti Creme Treats
makes about 4 1/2 cups
1 package sugar free gelatin, cherry or strawberry flavor
1 package sugar free gelatin, peach or orange flavor
1 envelope unsweetened fruit punch drink mix
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
1 8 oz. container lite whipped topping, partially thawed
Combine the gelatins and fruit punch mix in a medium bowl. Stir in the boiling water, and continue to stir for about two minutes so everything totally dissolves. Stir in the cold water. Pour two cups of the gelatin mixture into whatever you’d like to serve your treats in (glasses, dessert cups, etc) and place them in the fridge to start setting. Whatever you use, make sure you allow enough room at the top for a good portion of tutti frutti creme. Place the remaining gelatin in the fridge as well, until it starts to thicken slightly. Check on it after about half an hour.
When the remaining gelatin starts to thicken, use an electric mixer to beat in the lite whipped topping. You now have tutti frutti creme. Spoon the creme atop the partially set gelatins, and place them back in the fridge to set fully, about another hour. If you want to keep these in the fridge for a day or two before serving, just cover them loosely with plastic wrap.
