I feel a little scandalous sharing this orange and grapefruit salad as a recipe, but it really is a recipe. It’s just so easy! So I guess it’s a scandalously easy recipe. Plus, it’s low calorie, a great source of fiber and vitamins and a very healthy choice when I want something sweet, which is pretty often.
Oranges, grapefruit and a little sweetener mixed together. It doesn’t get much simpler than that! But they way they taste together, the grapefruit and orange juices mingle and the whole thing ends of tasting like some kind of frisky citrus punch. I can’t get enough of it! And the superdose of vitamin C always gives me an instant mood lift.
I love this orange and grapefruit salad on so many levels. A hefty cup is around 80 calories, so I love having it around when I’m trying to balance a few days (or weeks) of kinda questionable food choices. When I can have orange and grapefruit salad, I’m happy even if there aren’t cookies in my immediate future.
