Wonton wrappers can make any filling into an instant party, and one of my favorite folds is this pretty square shape. It looks fancy but it’s quite easy, and after the first try or two you’ll have it down.
1. Start by laying out your stuff in easy reach. You’ll need wrappers, filling, two spoons and an egg beaten with a little water. I have great luck sealing these with egg, and not so great using water by itself.
6. Fold the remaining point to the center and press along the edges to seal. You might have to do a little fiddling to get the edges to line up nicely. This is where I got stuck the first time and ended up throwing a few away, but after two or three I got the hang of it. Keep trying, you’ll get it!
