How to toast almond slices quick, easy and perfect every time!
Toasted almond slices are one of my favorite ways to add fabulous depth of flavor and great nutrition to pretty much anything. Here’s how to toast a 1 lb. bag of almond slices to use whenever and wherever you want (including noshing on them by the handful)!
So how to toast almond slices? Let’s get toasting!
So here’s the untoasted almond slices. Once they’re toasted I store them in the same bag because it has a nice zipper seal, but if yours doesn’t you’ll need a good zipper bag or something similarly airtight to keep them in.
3. Take them out of the oven and use a spatula to turn and stir them up a bit. Return them to the oven for another 5-8 minutes. They’ll continue to cook a bit after they’re out of the oven so don’t leave them in too long.
So that’s how to toast almond slices to use in all your favorite salads, snacks, desserts and even main dishes. They’re super healthy and make most everything more delicious.
