Making your own egg rolls is _awesome_. You can fill them with anything and bake them (no need to fry) to make fun, healthy treats all day long. The best part is rolling them is really easy. It’s like riding a bike; practice a little, and soon you’ll be able to wake up out of a dead sleep and wrap an egg roll, and you never know when that’s going to come up. So here’s how to wrap an egg roll, quick, easy and pretty good, every time.
1. Start with your stuff laid out all handy and easy to reach. Make sure a pointy edge of the wrapper is facing you. If you don’t have a pastry brush like the one shown, fingers work too. Place a damp paper towel over your stack of wrappers if they start to feel dry.
So now you can make your own egg rolls, and that’s power. Of course they’re great with traditional fillings, but you can make all kinds of treats with them, like these Black Bean and Cheddar Burrito Rolls for example.
